Información sobre pastos
Mini goats are not baby goats but breeds unto themselves. Baby goats are actually called kids…seriously…we’re not kidding.
Many of our mini goats are from dairy farms that no longer have use for them, especially males. Mini goats are playful, highly social, and thrive on human interaction, making them perfect for our goat yoga classes. If you’ve never tried a class, sign up on our website and give it a go, but we won’t goat you into it.
You are welcome to enter this pasture to meet our mini goats up close and personal. It is best to leave strollers outside the pasture. Please be careful as you enter to only have 1 gate open at a time. These goats are sneaky little rascals and have perfected the art of escape.
The goats are very friendly by nature but remember that horns can hurt so please be watchful, especially with young kids. Goats play by headbutting each other and can inadvertently knock over young children. They are also nibblers so be mindful of shoelaces or any loose items that might catch their attention.
Meet the Animals

Mac and Jack
These twin Nigerian Dwarf goats are the stars of goat yoga. Nicknamed “Jack the Licker,” Jack loves to give everyone a taste! Both Mac and Jack are active, friendly goats.

Lightning and McQueen
Another set of twin Nigerian Dwarf goats, these two are friendly goats but may not always get up to meet you as arthritis is starting to set in. They love goat yoga because they get to lay on all the comfortable mats.

Dip
This Nigerian Dwarf goat is stylin’ with his fancy horns. Farmers often clip or burn off horns and sometimes they grow back in crazy ways so Dip has a very unique look.

Primrose
One of our tiny Pygmy goats, Primrose is a bundle of sass and cuteness! Watch out, she’s known for her sneak attacks!

Petunia
Another Pygmy goat, Petunia is the essence of sweetness. She waddles her tiny little body up to you for pets and love. Be sure to give her some love if you go in to meet our minis.

Pansy
This delightful and lovely girl just wanders the pasture looking for new people to call a friend. She came to us with Primrose and Petunia and loves meeting all the visitors that come to see her. That is why you’re here, just to see her, right?!

Jasmine
As our big goat Magoo’s little “mini me,” Jasmine is very treat obsessed. She isn’t as fond of being touched so please give her a little space.

Buttercup
Meet one of our TV stars. Buttercup can be seen on the HBO series “Hard Knocks” as she greeted the Seahawks and wished them luck on their upcoming season. OK, so she peed on one of the players but let’s not split hairs! A mini Lamancha goat, Buttercup has quickly become a favorite due to her sweet and gentle nature. You can easily identify her by her tiny little ears, a distinguishing feature of Lamancha goats.

Spice
This handsome, bearded boy is a Nigerian Dwarf goat. Due to his age and health needs, his family reluctantly had to leave him behind when they moved away. He is well loved by his new friends and one of the most good-natured goats you’ll ever meet.

Violet
When Violet first arrived, she was skinny and shy. You’d never guess that now as our spunky little girl has taken over the mini goat pasture. She is very amiable but also a professional escape artist so please be careful opening gates if she is lurking.
Around the Pasture
The sanctuary would not be possible without the generous people and businesses who support our animals and their care.
