With horses’ long muzzles, they cannot see directly in front of their mouths so feeding by hand can be dangerous. As beautiful and friendly as these animals are, please do not feed or touch to make sure everyone stays safe. Mini Horses are also prone to obesity and laminitis so we keep them on a low-sugar diet.

Mini Horses are a small breed of horse, with the proportions of a full-sized horse. These mighty minis can pull carts weighing several times their own mass.

If you would like to interact with our horses up close, we do offer pony rides and pony parades for our younger visitors during summer camp and birthday parties. One of our volunteers would be happy to let you know how to sign up.
